Los Angeles based DJ & producer Scott Shima serves up his second single on Waez’s Street Tracks label. Having also previously released on Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage label, Shima carves out three undeniably funky club cuts on the ‘Fancy Feast’ EP.

‘Clap For Da Beat’ injects some techno chops into its framework, menacing stabs and distorted snare hits rub up against groovy organ licks and a vocal motif. Title track ‘Fancy Feast’ brings together a smorgasbord of vibes, as deep pads systematically wash over a mechanical and industrious tech-house workout, whilst ‘Prezent Feelings’ is a low-slung chugger, deploying old school piano riffs and gravelly acid to its steady pace.
